Ginger Cookies

We've heard you! One of our number-one sellers, the Déjà Brew ginger cookies are back!Unfortunately we ate the last batch before taking the photo, which means we had to use a different picture. But rest assured, these deliciously sweet-and-spicy ginger cookies are shaped like our café mascot's face: Monsieur Dignitea, the Goobbue lamp you can find in the café.These cookies are a perfect mix of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, butter, and sprinkled with maple sugar for a bit of extra texture.
Mirror Apple Tart

Mirror apples delivered straight from the Coerthan Central Highlands* are peeled and stewed in a compote of golden honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg.They're then gently folded into a homemade pie crust, brushed with butter for that telltale flaky crust, and baked to golden perfection. Served warm with a sprinkle of sugar on top.* We only source ingredients from farmers who are committed to sustainable practices in accordance with the Eorzean Fair Trade laws.
Lemon Muffin

A beautifully bright lemony muffin, perfect for those who like a little zip with their sweet. Made from lemonettes and a little cardamom for a gentle tartness, these muffins are topped with a homemade torched meringue out of the egg whites.
Coffee Biscuit

A buttery and slightly crunchy biscuit with a subtle coffee-flavoured filling sandwiched between two shortbread-like cookies. Small, and easy to eat too many of them (also try dipping them in your coffee)! Each serving comes with three.
Walnut Bread

It's back! Along with ginger cookies -- Déjà Brew's two most asked-for pastries in their off season -- these favourites have returned for the new bakery upgrade! We couldn't add a bakery and not do that, now could we?Our walnut bread is super soft with a moderately crunchy crust; the perfect combination of textures in our humble opinion. Peppered throughout are chopped local Gridanian walnuts and some signature buffalo milk to really elevate this from your average bread, and each slice is topped with our homemade butter recipe to really hammer home the cozy feeling.
Adzuki Taiyaki

A recipe a travelling merchant once traded with Vrin for her homemade Lemon Muffin one, this red bean pastry is perfect for any Eastern adventurer missing their homeland.Red beans are boiled and mashed with powdered sugar into a smooth, nutty, and slightly earthy sweet paste, and baked inside of a dense doughnut-like pastry in a cute fish shape!Even though the red bean paste inside is sweet, these pastries can be surprisingly on the savoury size for Eorzeans used to lots of sugar and conventional candies. Try it out!

The "Bole"

The Bole is associated with the World Tree, a life-giving tree planted by the Matron herself: Nophica of the Twleve and patron of Gridania.Like a sturdy tree trunk imitating foliage, the "Bole" cocktail is made of dark rum, ginger beer, and a couple dashes of bitters. Garnished with a lime wedge and sprig of mint.
The "Balance"
Cranberry & Bourbon

The Balance depicts Azeyma, the keeper of the sun and goddess of inquiry. To signify a perfect balance, this cocktail is both slighty sweet, and rich and oaky. Perfect for those who don't like drinks that are too overpowering, one way or the other.Made with bourbon, unsweetened cranberry juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and simple syrup.
The "Arrow"
Maple & Whiskey

The Arrow is believed to be a constellation created by Oschon, the Wanderer of the Twelve. He created the constellation with the help of Llymlaen, the Navigator and patron of Limsa Lominsa.Complex smoky whiskey with a 'shot' of maple syrup, stirred to perfection. Topped with an 'arrow' garnish made of maple sugar candy. Simple, but to the point.
The New "Spear"

The Spear's art depicts Halone: the Fury of the Twelve, patron of Ishgard and goddess of war. In the card background is Halone's domain, which was created by Menphina.An entirely new recipe on an old staple. Our New Spear cocktail is now made with high-quality Doman sake, gin, and dry vermouth. Served in a chilled martini glass, and garnished with a lemon peel twist to represent the power of Halone's spear.
The "Ewer"
Blue lemonade cocktail

The Ewer is known to be used by the Scholar Thaliak of the Twelve. From the ewer, he pours knowledge and aether which is spun by Nymeia, one of the Twelve and goddess of celestial bodies and fate.A base of lemonade mixed with blue curacao and vodka represents the water that he pours from his vessel to spread knowledge in the realm. Served in a sugar-rimmed glass.
The "Spire"

The Spire is known to have been build by Byregot of the Twelve, god of the arts and commander of lightning. The tower is constantly under attack by Rhalgr, the god of destruction and guardian deity of Ala Mhigo. It is likely that the old man depicted on the card is either Rhalgr or Byregot.Muddled fresh blackberries and sage leaves, shaken with gin, lime juice, and simple syrup. Served over ice.

What needs to be said about hot chocolate? Apparently something!Vrin has to fill space writing this menu and she's struggling to accurately describe how much she truly loves chocolate, and this menu item is no exception.Made with rich Kukuru powder, yak milk, and a bit of birch syrup, this drink is sweet, delectable, and filled with a happy-go-lucky warmth that's hard to deny. Topped, of course, with a homemade whipped cream and Kukuru chocolate drizzle.

All the fruit for our smoothies has been carefully chosen not for its beauty (we like our ugly fruit here!) but for the sustainability of our environment. We are proud to say much like how we source our tea leaves and coffee beans, our fruit harvesting is as local as possible, and as sustainable as possible.Each fruit smoothie can also be served just as a glass of juice!(Please feel free to order any you like, but the crafted items will always be one of the above. I don't want to bog down my baristas with 100 items, haha. Thanks!)

In the end, after building up that it was one of the recent members who seemed to have a vendetta against the Sultana herself, it was actually the senior member thwarting an assassination attempt to destroy the order. This is volume one in a series where the little girl becomes a teenager, an adult, and finally an old lady who passes on her knowledge to a new little girl at the end. Vrin just cannot find the other volumes for the life of her. Also her daughter's favourite book. It's probably where they went.🕮 "Threads of Fate" by Helene Aubrenard

This story follows an apprentice seamstress from the Weaver's Guild who discovers her tapestries can manipulate fate itself. When Mimomo Mimo accidentally weaves a tragic fate for her closest friend, she must journey to the distant shores of Hingashi to seek the guidance of expert weavers who can help her stop it from coming true and save her friend. In the end, Mimomo Mimo realizes that the tapestries were based on her inner feelings of jealousy and inadequacy for others in her life. With this realization, at the end of her journey she becomes happy with who she is and becomes a world-famous weaver with her magical tapestries.🕮 "The Crystal Paradox" by Helene Aubrenard

A travelling merchant stumbles upon a rare crystal necklace in his wares that grants wishes but twists their outcomes. During one drunken night spending his newfound coin from selling it, he discovers that the entire town has heard word of the magical necklace that grants any wish and chaos ensues. Feeling guilt over having sold it in a moment of next-morning clarity, the Roegadyn merchant decides to right his wrongs and look for the goldsmith who made it in hopes of reversing the wishes before it's too late.

She believes that these two facets, in tandem, are the true key to unlocking the answers one seeks so dearly.Vrin learned from the masters in her time in Ishgard many moons ago, and has since put her efforts to use elsewhere on the Star, adding her own personal touch and spin to the art. Vrin Innlid | Owner
Vrin started Déjà Brew from the ground up, serving coffee and tea out of her apartment years ago. She ran it solo, until it got popular enough that she realized she needed more help.Now Vrin can't imagine the café any other way, bustling with life and laugher, and shoulders to cry on. She themed the venue around her time learning Astrology in Ishgard many moons ago, and has since "retired" from working so she can experience more of the adventuring life. Granted, in reality, she spends all of her time cooking, baking, weaving, gardening, and fishing down by the ocean at her new house. She's also abysmal at alchemy.Vrin still manages the books for Déjà Brew, and makes sure to come in early every Thursday morning to bake everything for the day. Once in a while you can find her at the café mingling with people and catching up, or doing tarot readings in the back corner.

Everybody's favourite Midlander, Robin is a pillar of the Déjà Crew and community.Having since taken a break so he can focus on his personal life for the time being, Robin never fails to light up a room with his friendly personality and quirky nature.He loves writing, has a penchant for breaking his glasses, and remembering an uncanny amount of orders all at once.[This entry is clearly scrawled in Vrin's handwriting]
